Getting started

Download the latest DMG, open it, and drag Freshistinto your Applications folder. The first time you open it, macOS may ask you to confirm — that's expected for apps downloaded outside the App Store. Freshist is notarized by Apple.

Scanning is always free, so you can explore every tool and see exactly what would be cleaned before you buy a license.

Activating your license

After purchase, Creem emails your license key. In Freshist, click Activate(top-right), paste your key, and you're done. One license activates on up to 3 Macs.

• Moving to a new Mac? Deactivate an old one from its Activate window to free a slot.
• Your key lives in your inbox — no account or password to remember.

Full Disk Access

For scans to see everything, grant Freshist Full Disk Access: System Settings › Privacy & Security › Full Disk Access, then enable Freshist. Nothing leaves your Mac — this permission simply lets the app read the folders it analyzes.

Is it safe?

Yes, by design. Freshist lists every file with its size before doing anything, never pre-selects risky items, and moves removed items to the Trash instead of deleting them. Every destructive action is written to a local log you can read at ~/Library/Logs/Freshist/.

Troubleshooting

My license key didn't arrive

Check spam and promotions first. Still nothing? Email hello@freshist.netfrom your purchase address and we'll resend it.

Updating

Freshist updates itself. You can also grab any version from the Releases page. Updates are always free.
